ROYAL FAMILY AT THE CONCERT OF MARIJA SERIFOVIC

Belgrade, 9 June 2007 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine accepted the invitation of Maria Serifovic to attend her concert at the Belgrade Fortress Kalemegdan on Friday, 8 June 2007.

At the concert of this year’s winner of the “Eurovision Song Contest” who last night performed in front of the Belgrade public for the first time after the triumph in Helsinki, Their Royal Highnesses went with their guests who are staying at the Royal Palace in Belgrade for the occasion of the special celebration of HM King Alexander I and Queen Marie 85th Wedding Anniversary.

After the reception and opening of the exhibition at the White Palace of memorabilia of the Royal Wedding in 1922 Their Royal Highnesses joined the citizens at the Kalemegdan Fortress with their esteemed guests among which were Her Royal Highness Princess Margarita of Romania, His Serene Highness Prince Radu of Hohenzollern-Veringen, and Her Royal Highness Princess Katarina (daughter of late HRH Prince Tomislav), and her husband Sir Desmond de Silva QC.
