WORLD REFUGEE DAY

Belgrade, 20 June 2007 – On the occasion of the World Refugee Day, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander extended his gratitude for all the activities that UNHCR is undertaking in our country to Mr. Lennart Kotsalainnen, representative of the UNHCR in Serbia.

“One of the highest priorities my wife’s charity the Princess Katherine Foundation is to help refugees; therefore my wife and I are aware of the enormous importance and work of UNHCR activities in Serbia.

We strongly support all efforts aiming to help refugees to rebuild their lives and we are certain that UNHCR in Serbia will continue to fulfil its mission and to work for the benefit of refugees in Serbia” – emphasized Crown Prince Alexander II in his letter.
