CROWN PRINCE CONGRATULATES THE “YOUNG EAGLES” FOR WINNING SILVER AT THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Belgrade, 25 June 2007 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II extended his congratulations to Mr. Miroslav Djukić, coach of the youth football team of Serbia (up to 21 years of age), for winning the silver medal at the European championship in Holland.

The Crown Prince commanded the “young eagles” for their dedication, unity, talent and sportsmanship. The last game was played in the rain and against Holland, an opponent difficult to beat.

“Nevertheless, the silver medal shines just as nicely as the gold one, and is a great success for Serbia”, emphasized Crown Prince Alexander II in his letter of congratulations, adding that they have all made Serbia proud, and wishing them good luck in the Olympics for which they have qualified.
