CROWN PRINCE CONDEMNS BRUTAL ATTACK ON BISHOP HRIZOSTOM

Belgrade, 17 July 2007 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II strongly condemns the brutal assault on His Grace Bishop Hrizostom of Bihac and Petrovac

“I appeal to all officials to take this cold blooded attack seriously and arrest the perpetrators. This is the fourth time that the Bishops life has been threatened, and it cannot be tolerated any more. This kind of behaviour is uncivilized and primitive. Democratic societies should not tolerate such disgusting behaviour which is against the principles of civilized behaviour and human rights.

The damage and pain that is caused by such fanatic attacks will not contribute to a future in a civilized society within Europe. I strongly condemn this act of brutality and call for the respect of all confessions and for tolerance”.
