SUMMERTIME IN GREECE – GIFT OF PRINCESS KATHERINE TO
CHILDREN
Belgrade, 19 July 2007 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince
Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine received today at the Royal Palace
children who will, under patronage of the Foundation of HRH Princess Katherine
and Lifeline humanitarian organization travel to a summer camp in Cephalonia,
Greece.
Thirty nine children from an Association helping orphans from
Kosovo and Metohija and Croatia, and from the Centre for Social Welfare in
Kragujevac will travel on 20 July to Greece to a children’s camp where they will
make friends with other children from all over the world.
Twenty children from the Centres for children without
parental care in Sombor and Bela Crkva are already at the international
children’s camp in Athens, and by the end of August, 110 children from the
Centres for children without parental care from all over Serbia will travel to
summer camps in Thessaloniki and Asprovalta.
In this way, the Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine
gives a unique opportunity to children to meet other children of similar age
from other countries and gain new acquaintances and experiences. |
