THE CHANCELLERY OF
H.R.H. CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER
OF YUGOSLAVIA

PRINCE ALEKSANDAR PATRON OF AERO-CLUB “NAŠA KRILA”

Yesterday was the 80th anniversary of the Serbian Aero-Club, first association of Serbian pilots. On that occasion Yugoslav Aero-club “Naša krila”(Our wings), the successor of the prewar Aero-Club tradition, held a reception in the City Hall of Belgrade where the Crown Prince Peter, the son of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Aleksandar, was given a diploma as a sign of gratitude for accepting the patronage.

Since the patron is currently studying in the United States, Crown Prince Aleksandar accepted the diploma in his name and expressed gratitude for this honour. His Royal Highness noted that big changes had taken place in the last year. “Of course, not all changes are for the better, but I hope we have made the most important step and now we should not lose the will and courage to make all other steps in order to leave the darkwoods and step into broad daylight,”said Crown Prince Aleksandar.

Respectable guests from religious, cultural and business life of the country attended the reception. Mr. Ljubomir Anđelković, Vice-President of the City Hall, greeted the guests in the name of the City Hall of Belgrade that was the host of this event.
