CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER CONGRATULATES
YOUNG GOLD SWIMMING MEDALLIST IVAN LENDJER

Belgrade, 24 July 2007 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II extended today his congratulations to the president of the “Proleter” Swimming Club from Zrenjanin, Mr. Jovica Stajic, for the wonderful achievement of young swimmer Ivan Lendjer, who is the new European Junior Champion for the 100 metres butterfly style.

In his letter of support, the Crown Prince wrote:

“It is astonishing that this young sportsman, only 17 years old, has won about 350 medals so far, including the gold medal at the World Junior Championships in 2006. This is a marvellous achievement for him, for the club and for Serbia”.

The Crown Prince wished the young swimmer a plethora of medals for Serbia in his future career.
