THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES VISIT TRADITIONAL SUMMER CAMP OUR SERBIA AT TARA MOUNTAIN

Belgrade, 25 July 2007 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine visited today the traditional Summer Camp and School of Friendship organized by Our Serbia humanitarian organization at Tara Mountain.

Their Royal Highnesses were welcomed by Mr. Mladjan Djordjevic, President of Our Serbia (Nasa Srbija) organization, as well as the children and participants of the camp.

Crown Prince Alexander II expressed his pleasure to be with the children today, and invited them to visit The Royal Compound.

After the tour through workshops, part of the School of Friendship, HRH Crown Princess Katherine said and emphasized: “It is a great pleasure for my husband and I that we are here again with you on the wonderful Tara Mountain. You will have plenty of time to play, but I suggest that you spend some time learning too. Sport is extremely important for growing up, and Tara offers so many possibilities for you. I wish you much joy and laughter, and I invite you to gather again next year in even a greater number”.

His Grace Bishop of Lipljan Teodosije thanked Their Royal Highnesses for great humanitarian effort that they are investing in the future of our children.

Mr. Mladjan Djordjevic, President of Our Serbia organization thanked everyone for the support of this traditional manifestation, especially to Mr. Vitor Marinkovic, Founder of the construction Company Temelj, who built the Camp of Friendship at the Tara Mountain.

Following the ceremony Mr. Slobodan Kedzic, Marketing Director of Politika opened the Politika Book Fair for children, and delivered traditional awards to the best participants in every field.

The Foundation of HRH Princess Katherine has collaborated successfully with Our Serbia for six years. This year, the Foundation of HRH Princess Katherine helped the camp by handing out hygienic packages, a donation of the Henkel Company and thanks to Del Yug Company the camp was supplied with 4000 ice creams.

After the visit to Tara Mountain, Their Royal Highnesses continued with humanitarian deliveries in Uzice, Cacak and Gornji Milanovac.
