CROWN PRINCE CONGRATULATES ROSH HASHANAH TO THE JEWISH
COMMUNITY
Belgrade, 12 September 2007 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince
Alexander II extended his family’s congratulations on the occasion of Rosh
Hashanah, marked on 13 September, to the Jewish community.
He had conveyed his letter of congratulations to Mr David
Albahari, President of the Union of Jewish Municipalities in Serbia, H.E. Mrs.
Yaffa Ben-Ari, the Ambassador of Israel to Serbia, Mr. Isaac Asiel, the Great
Rabi, Dr Raka Levi, President of the Jewish Municipality of Belgrade, Dr Ana
Frenkel, President of the Jewish Municipality of Novi Sad, Mr. Robert Sabados,
President of the Jewish Municipality of Subotica, and Mr. Jakov Danon, President
of the Jewish Municipality of Banja Luka.
In his letter, the Crown Prince wished the best wishes on
Rosh Hashanah. “Let this holiday remind us that we should look into our souls
and do everything we can to become better, by finding peace in good deeds and
honourable acts”, emphasized, among other things Crown Prince Alexander II. |
