RECEPTIONS IN HONOUR OF AMBASSADORS FOR CHILDREN AND
PARTICIPANTS OF THE BANTAO CONFERENCE
Belgrade, 17 September 2007 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine hosted this evening the
Ambassadors for Children and the participants of the 8th International BANTAO
Conference of nephrologists.
Ambassadors for Children is a non-profit organisation from
the United Sates whose main goal is to help children worldwide through
short-term humanitarian missions and sustainable projects. During their latest
stay in Belgrade, they will visit several Children’s Wards and will donate baby
formula and toys, and will also visit a refugee centre. They will take very nice
memories from our country since they will tour Belgrade, Novi Sad and Oplenac.
Just a reminder, Ambassadors for Children is an organisation
that has recognised the humanitarian efforts of Crown Prince Alexander and Crown
Princess Katherine, by giving them the prestigious Peace Award on 26 April this
year.
The participants of the second reception were the
nephrologists who have gathered for the 8th International BANTAO Conference in
Belgrade, at which the latest trends will be presented in treating kidney
illnesses, dialysis, transplants, mineral bone diseases and urinary tract
infections, by providing a number of educational courses, seminars and
presentations.
Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine organized
these receptions to say thanks to the Ambassadors for Children and the BANTAO
Conference, of which the benefit will be for our children and our patients.
The participants of the receptions were given a tour of the
Palace’s, with the hope that they will leave with even more positive impressions
of Belgrade and Serbia. |
