CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II EXPRESSED DEEP CONDOLENCES FOR
PASSING
OF MR. NENAD BOGDANOVIĆ

Belgrade 28 September 2007 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince
Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine received with great sadness the news
of Mr. Nenad Bogranovic’s passing on Thursday, 27 September 2007 in Belgrade.
“With his passing, the city of Belgrade has suffered a great
loss. It is difficult to find comforting words in wake of such a tragic loss and
in the moment of a vast sorrow, but I do hope that you will find the strength to
surpass this tragedy as we all join in prayer for his eternal peace”, emphasized
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II.
Mr. Nenad Bogdanovic has had a flourishing career which will
always be remembered and praised. Mr. Bogdanovic became a member of the
Democratic Party (DP) in 1992, and a year later, he was elected as the Chairman
of the Zemun Board, and afterwards as the Vice Chairman of the City Board, then
as the Commissioner for Belgrade, as well as the Member of the National
Parliament of Serbia.
Mr. Bogdanovic has served in the function of the Premier in
the New City Government, first as the Chairman of the Election Board of DOS in
Belgrade and afterwards as the manager of the Crisis Centre in the City. He
worked in the past three years as the vice Chairman of the expert Government for
Belgrade of Democratic Party and Civic Alliance of Serbia where he mastered the
act of city management. Among his friends and colleagues, he will be remembered
as “prudent, controlled, accurate and energetic man”.

Princess Katherine extended their deepest sympathies to the family of Mr.
Bogdanovic, as well as Mrs. Radmila Hrustanovic the Deputy Mayor of the City of
Belgrade and the Democratic Party headed by His Excellency, Mr. Boris Tadic. |
