THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES AT THE CEREMONIAL OPENING OF THE
FIRST SERBIAN PHLEBOLOGY CONFERENCE
Belgrade, 12 October 2007 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine attended this evening at the
City Hall of Belgrade the ceremonial opening of the First Serbian Phlebology
Conference.
The Conference, which is taking place from 12 to 14 October,
organised by the Association of Phlebologists of Serbia, the Faculty of Medicine
of the University of Belgrade, and the Institute for Cardio-Vascular Diseases of
the Clinical Centre of Serbia under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of
Serbia, represents an important step towards promoting knowledge on vein
diseases.
Greeting the present, the Crown Prince emphasised: “I am very
happy that my wife and I have the honour to be present at the opening of the
First Serbian Phlebology Conference. It is a pleasure having such prominent
foreign professors, lecturers who have come to transfer their experiences in
this field”.
The Crown Prince expressed hope that the participants will
“take some new stands which will help us in treating vein diseases”. In the end,
he wished everyone a lot of success.
Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown
Princess Katherine fully support the development of the awareness about
preventive and timely treatment.
Many domestic as well as foreign experts, cardiovascular
surgeons, phlebologists, psychiatrists, dermatologists will take part in the
Conference. |
