CROWN PRINCE ADDRESSES 7TH SUMMIT OF SERBIA
Belgrade, 16 October 2007. – His Royal Highness Crown Prince
Alexander II addressed the 7th Economic Summit of Serbia. The theme of the
congress is “Serbian Economy: Consolidating Stability and Envisioning the
Future” and it was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
This summit annually monitors economic and business
development in Serbia, gathers people from the world of business and provides
the opportunity for exchange of opinions and ideas regarding the economic
questions of our region.
Crown Prince Alexander II addressed the conference and
welcomed them; exclaiming that “these conferences have become an annual
tradition and are a very important part of the economic development of Serbia.
Our duty as a key and strategic country in South-Eastern Europe is to have
superlative relations with everyone, neighbours and all countries“, said Crown
Prince Alexander II. In his conclusion, His Royal Highness stated that we must
work together for a better future and wished everyone a successful conference.
Among those who also addressed the gathering were Dr. Milan
Parivodic, the Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister who read a speech for the
Prime Minister opening the Summit. The gathering was also addressed by Mr.
Mladjan Dinkic, the Minister of Economy and Regional Development, as well as His
Excellency, Mr. Cameron Munter, the United States ambassador to Serbia, and his
Excellency, Mr. Christos Panagopoulos, ambassador of Greece to Serbia who wished
for successful continuation of Greek and Serbian cooperation. His Excellency
used this opportunity along with Mrs. Litsa Panayotopoulos, Managing Director of
OTE Academy; to thank Their Royal Highnesses for their humanitarian efforts to
help the victims of the terrible Greek fires.

honour of attendants of the Seventh Summit of Serbia. |
