HUMANITARIAN FUND PRIVREDNIK VISITS ROYAL PALACE
Belgrade, 18 October 2007. – Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine held a reception at the Royal
Palace in honour of the members and scholars of the Humanitarian Fund Privrednik
from Novi Sad.
Guests were received by Mr. Dragomir Acovic, member of the
Privy Council, in the name of the Royal Couple who could not attend the
reception due to previously accepted engagements abroad.
The main goals of the Humanitarian Fund Privrednik are to
help young scholars in furthering their education, elevating their work and
expert quality, as well as applying global achievements in fields of science,
culture and education. Privrednik especially invests in the advancement of
children without parental care, children from lower social standard, as well as
gifted students who have achieved great results at distinctive academic
institutions with effort and hard work.
In addition to Mr. Acovic and members of the Privrednik Fund,
the reception was also attended by the new generation of 50 gifted scholars
which further education will be made possible by this Fund.
Crown Prince Alexander II and Princess Katherine support all
actions which help further the education of young academics in our country.
