THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES SUPPORT
HUMANITARIAN ACTION - COOKS FOR CHILDREN OF SERBIA

Belgrade, 19 October 2007 - The Culinary Association of Serbia, in cooperation with the People’s Office and with the support of Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine organised on World Culinary Day a humanitarian event in Kosovo and Metohija titled Cooks for the Children of Serbia, whose goal is to provide a fun day for the children, to arouse their interest in cooking, and the action will result in the opening of a kindergarten.

Crown Prince Alexander has sent the following greeting message:

“My wife and I are very glad to support this action of the Culinary Association of Serbia and the People’s Office. The children will today hopefully enjoy a fun-filled day and will perhaps find a motivation to one day become top chefs and culinary masters.

It is tremendously important that these children will also get a kindergarten, so that they can learn and play in a safe and loving environment.

My wife Crown Princess Katherine and I always support all actions that benefit children, and our hearts go out especially to the children of Kosovo who are deprived of normal childhoods.

We would like to express our thanks to everyone who helped make this event possible and we hope that many such actions will take place in the future”, concluded Crown Prince Alexander in his letter.
