CROWN PRINCE CONGRATULATES INITIALLING STABILIZATION AGREEMENT WITH EU

Belgrade, 7 November 2007 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II sent his letter of congratulation to Government of Serbia for initialling Stabilization and Association Agreement with European Union today in Brussels.

In his letter Crown Prince stated: “initialling Stabilization and Association Agreement with European Union is a very important step for the future of Serbia. Our Nation deserves to be a part of the greater system that will bring development, stability and prosperity to our people. This proves that it is crucial for our Government to work together, since only in joint efforts can we achieve our European goal.

We must be aware that there is still a long way ahead of us, requiring even more work and producing concrete results which will take us to the next mayor step – formal candidacy for the membership in the European Union.”

The letter of congratulation was sent to: Mr. Boris Tadic, President of Serbia, Mr. Vojislav Kostunica, Prime Minister and Mr. Bozidar Djelic, Deputy Prime Minister in the Government of Serbia.
