GOLDEN STATUE FOR THE BIG HEART

Belgrade, 14 November 2007. – Under the patronage of HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation, a reception was organized at the White Palace in honour of humanitarian action Big Heart which extends support to persons with special needs and victims of domestic violence.

This humanitarian action was marketed in form of a music video and it was promoted in July of this year with idea to demonstrate the problems of people with invalidities and to inspire people to contribute to this cause by sending SMS on the numbers 064/1051 i 065/1051.

Crown Prince Alexander II greeted the guests and underlined in his speech the importance of actions which raise awareness about the needs of people with disabilities and victims of domestic violence. „I wish to express my admiration and support to all of you who helped make this action a successful one. We are proud to host this reunion here today, which fully reflects the success of our joint efforts which began earlier in July of this year when we hosted the promotion of music video for the action Big Heart“, stated Crown Prince Alexander II.

At this reception, Mr. Ivan Plavsic, the author of the project delivered golden statues to the friends of the action, among which were Crown Prince Alexander II, Mr. Dragan Sutanovac, Minister of Defence, Mr. Lens Clark, the Coordinator of United Nations for Serbia, HE Hans Ola Urstad, Head of OESCE mission, His Grace Bishop of Hvost Atanisije and many others. Special golden coins and diplomas were delivered to the media representatives and musicians that made the realization of this project a successful one, some of them were: Sasa Kovacevic, Isidora Bjelica, Color Pres Group, TV Most, radio S, TV Spectrum, Kurir, Gazeta, Glas javnosti, TV 5 Nis, TV Sumadija, TV BN Bjeljina and many more.
