WHITE PALACE RECEPTION FOR INTERNATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGE EXPERTS

Belgrade, 16 November 2007. – The Royal Couple hosted tonight a reception in honour of the participants of the 6th International Belgrade Stock Exchange Conference.

The annual gathering of stock exchange participants at the Sixth International Conference of the Belgrade Stock Exchange dubbed “Upgrade in Belgrade”, took place on 15-16 November at the Sava Centre.

Crown Prince Alexander II wished a warm welcome to his guests and addressed the participants pointing out: “I hope that this gathering is going to attract more investments to Serbia. Serbia especially needs many new green field investments. The development of the financial market will bring improvement and stability to the economy in the region”

The conference gathered professionals and renowned experts from various industries who will take part in a discussion regarding the current situation in the exchange industry as well as the regional consolidation issue.

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine hosted this reception to further the economic development of Serbia and attract additional investments which would improve and stabilize the economy of the entire region as well.
