CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II EXTENDS GREETINGS ON THE DAY OF THE ENTRANCE OF THE MOST HOLY THEOTOKOS SLAVA OF THE CHILANDAR MONASTERY

Belgrade, 3 December 2007 - HRH Crown Prince Alexander II conveyed his greetings to the brotherhood of the Serbian Monastery of Chilandar on Mount Athos in Greece on the occasion of the Monastery’s Slava (patron Saint day) - Entrance of the Most Holy Thetokos into the Temple.

“I wish you to spend this holy day in peace and under the protection of the Holy Virgin Mary. The Chilandar Monastery is of immeasurable importance to Serbian people and nation. It represents a sanctum, a centre of truth and virtue, while celebrating the Entrance of the Most Holy Theotokos represents a place of worship, hearth of virtue, truth and deed” - Crown Prince Alexander stated in his letter to the Abbot and the Brotherhood of the Chilandar Monastery.
