CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER II SUPPORTS KOSOVO RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE SERBIAN PARLIAMENT

Belgrade, 27 December 2007 - Crown Prince Alexander II congratulates the Serbian Parliament for the wisdom and unity that included both the ruling coalition and opposition parties that took place in the process of the adoption of the Kosovo and Metohija Resolution.

It is of vital interest for Serbia to stay united and to do everything possible to secure that the Province of Kosovo and Metohija remains in Serbia and Serbia on its European path towards the European Union. Both principles should be realized through wise policy, and only through peaceful and diplomatic means.

The parliamentary Resolution on Kosovo and Metohija confirms a united policy of our state, with the aim to protect Serbia's territorial integrity and sovereignty and the country's path on further European integration.
