QUALIFICATIONS FOR ATHLETIC CAMP HELD UNDER PATRONAGE OF HRH CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE FOUNDATION

Belgrade, 29 December 2007 – The third International meeting for the “Fast to the stars” project, under the patronage of HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation, Ministry for Youth and Sport and the City Assembly, organised qualifications in athletic disciplines for Roma children and children without parental care in the Elementary School Karadjordje.

This project, sponsored by Telecom Serbia involves 150 children who will perform their skills in athletic disciplines, and take part in athletic camps to be held between 8-19 January 2008. During this period, 52 children will have free athletic sessions, training, workshops and excursions.

As a part of the project World Health Organization (WHO) will provide free medical checkups for the children at the primary health centre Palilula.

HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation prepared 150 presents for the children, as well as catering services provided by bakery Trpkovic from Belgrade.
