THE CHANCELLERY OF THEIR
ROYAL HIGHNESSES IN THE VISIT OF THE INSTITUTE FOR HEALTH PROTECTION “MILAN JOVANOVIC BATUT” AND
FACULTY OF DENTISTRY IN BELGRADE Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Aleksandar II, Princess Katarina and Prince Filip visited today the Institute for health protection “Milan Jovanović Batut” and Faculty of Dentistry in Belgrade. The authorities of the Institute informed Their Royal Highnesses about the situation in that institution and the plans for the following year. Crown Prince Aleksandar was especially interested in co-operation between the Institute and the Republic Ministry of Heath that is, by his opinion, the essential supposition for the successful functioning of the entire system of health protection. At the Institute “Milan Jovanović Batut” Their Royal Highnesses talked to Dr. Brian Potter, the head of European Union scientific team for development of the program for education of patients. Their Royal Highnesses were warmly welcomed at the full amphitheatre of the Faculty of Dentistry. Addressing the Dean of the Faculty Prof. Vojislav Leković, professors and students, Crown Prince Aleksandar II said: “ I am aware that the poverty we have been facing during the past few decades affected the possibilities of keeping the pace with modern technologies and that you are doing your best to compensate this problem with the quality of your knowledge”, and added: “My wife and I have been involved in programs of health aid for years and we follow our ancestors in that way too. We will try as much as we can to help your Faculty keep its high reputation”. Accompanied
by collegiums of deans, Their
Royal Highnesses visited Clinic for tooth dentures and Clinic for tooth
diseases in Faculty of Dentistry where they were informed on work conditions
