CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER’S APPEAL AGAINST VIOLENCE

Belgrade, 18 February 2008 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II has appealed to all citizens of Serbia to restrain from any form of violence in this difficult time for our country and people.

“This is one of the gravest moments in the history of our people, filled with deepest emotions. Kosovo and Metohija is in our hearts, it is our soul, and it will be there forever. What is happening today in Kosovo must not be the reason and the justification for violence. The worst that can happen to us as a people is that we start using the very same methods that the others have been using for decades. The only way is that we rally around the institutions of the Serbian state and take all measures to make right this historic injustice that has been done to us”.
