EASTER HANDICRAFT BAZAAR OPENS UNDER THE AUSPICES OF HRH
CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE FOUNDATION
Belgrade, 14 March 2008 – The Easter Handicraft Humanitarian
Bazaar, traditionally organised by HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation,
opened today at the Progress gallery in Belgrade.
The Humanitarian Bazaar, whose aim is to help women refugees
and internally displaced persons, was opened by Mr. Dragisa Dabetic, the Serbian
Commissioner for Refugees. The Bazaar once again provides support to those in
need. The ceremonial opening was attended by numerous people, among whom was Mr.
Hans Ola Urstad, Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia and Mrs. Nancy Archer,
President of International Women’s Club in Serbia.
HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation invites everyone to
come, visit the Bazaar that will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will last
until Sunday, 16th of March. Visitors will have the opportunity to buy a large
variety of articles, traditional Serbian handicraft, and in this way help women
and their families. The income will help the refugees.
