HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER OPENS FOURTH
INTERNATIONAL SUMMIT OF INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGISTS
Belgrade, 16 April 2008 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince
Alexander II opened this morning the
Fourth International Summit of Interventional Cardiologists which
is taking place in Belgrade from 16 to 19 April.
Also present at the event was Professor Doctor Miodrag
Ostojic, President of The Serbian Heart Foundation, and His Excellency Mr.
Tomica Milosavljevic, Minister of Health.
The Fourth International Summit of Interventional
Cardiologists is held under the patronage of Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine.
Speeches were delivered by His Excellency Mr. Tomica
Milosavljevic, Minister of Health and by His Royal Highness Crown Prince
Alexander. In his speech, the Crown Prince emphasised: “We are aware of the
time we are living in and aware of the fact that the death percentage of
cardiovascular disease is extremely high; we sincerely hope that this Summit
will help you in getting new ascertainment and that you will adopt new work
techniques which will eventually help you to treat patients better and more
efficiently.”
The Summit is attended by a large number of domestic and
international experts who will be guests of Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine at a reception in the Royal
Palace.
