THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES AT BEST ACHIEVEMENTS 2007 AWARD
CEREMONY
Belgrade, 18 April 2008 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine attended today the Best
Achievements 2007 ceremony at the Belgrade City Hall.
These annual awards of the City of Belgrade are given to
individuals for best achievements in various fields: literature; film,
radio, and television; music; sciences; medicine; architecture and urbanism;
education, etc.
Mr. Zoran Alimpic, Acting Mayor of Belgrade, greeted the
present on behalf of the City Hall and handed out the awards. Among the
officials present at the ceremony were Mrs. Radmila Hrustanovic, Assistant
to the Acting Mayor of Belgrade, Mr. Vojislav Brajovic, Minister of Culture,
representatives of diplomatic corps and numerous public figures from the
areas of culture, sports, and business.
The guests were entertained by the Carolija (Magic)
children’s choir led by Mrs. Leontina Vukomanovic. After their wonderful
programme, Their Royal Highnesses took photos with the children’s choir and
with all the laureates, which was followed by a cocktail.
