HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER’S EASTER MESSAGE

The great day of the Resurrection of Our Lord is upon us. The great day, that has enlightened the world with joy and has given a purpose to our existence. The day above all days and the feast above all feasts. I am joined by my wife Crown Princess Katherine, sons Prince Peter, Prince Philip and Prince Alexander in wishing that this Holy Day remind us that we are all God’s children and that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is a call to find within ourselves what is good, for our sake and for the sake of general salvation.

We pray to Lord to give us all strength and the wisdom to overcome all pain and trouble. We pray that we work together, regardless of religion or ethnic origin, for the benefit of Serbia and all Serbs and everyone in our country for today’s and future generations. We pray at the time when we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord that all our politicians may have the wisdom, strength and unity to find just solutions for the great and painful tragedy of Kosovo and seek the path for the future of our people so that they may live in peace, security and prosperity.

On the occasion of the forthcoming holy feast of Christ’s Resurrection, I extend to you my warmest congratulations. Once again my wife and sons join me with warm wishes, and we extend to you faith, peace, hope and love:
