CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE FOUNDATION SENDS SERBIAN
DOCTORS FOR ROBOTICS SURGERY MEDICAL TRAINING IN ATHENS
Belgrade, 16 May 2008 – The HRH Crown Princess Katherine
Foundation and Lifeline Hellas organized two day’s medical training in
Athens Medical Hospital for Doctor Aleksandar Ljubic, Deputy Director of the
Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Clinical Centre of Serbia and Dr
Djordje Bajec, Director of Dragisa Misovic Hospital in Belgrade.
This kind training offer came from Dr. Konstantinos
Konstantinidis, Director of the Department for Robotic Surgery at the Athens
Medical Hospital, who is also the President of Hellenic Scientific Society
for Robotic Surgery.
During the training, the Serbian Doctors had the
opportunity to experience new technologies and developments in Robotic
Surgery, and to share their experience in Serbia.
Dr. Konstantinidis is a pioneer surgeon in the sector of
Robotics Surgery and a great philanthropist. The new methods that he will
share with Doctors Ljubic and Dr. Bajec will help them develop Robotic
Surgery in Serbia. |
