REPRESENTATIVES OF SERBIAN GOVERNMENT, EMBASSIES AND NGO’s CONTINUE DISCUSSION ON HUMANITARIAN SITUATION
AT THE ROYAL PALACE

The third coordinative meeting of the representatives of Serbian government, embassies and non-governmental organizations was organized today at the Royal Palace on the initiative of H.R.H. Crown Princess Katarina. The main topics was current humanitarian situation in our country.

Representatives of Republic Ministries of Social Welfare, Health and International Economic Relations, Republic Institute for Pharmacy, Institute for Health Protection of the Republic of Serbia “Milan Jovanović Batut” and Republic Fund for Health Insurance, as well as representatives of the embassies of Greece, Italy, Great Britain and Japan and around forty representatives of NGO’s and UN agencies attended the meeting.

The current topics in the health and social welfare sectors were discussed at the meeting. Representatives of non-governmental organizations and republic institutions outlined the main problems they deal with and informed themselves in direct way on the questions important for their further work.

The next meeting is scheduled for the middle of December with objective of further exchange of important information and promotion of co-operation.
