CROWN PRINCE AT RUGBY MATCH BETWEEN SERBIA AND ARMENIA
Belgrade, 24 May 2008 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince
Alexander II accompanied by Dr. Dragoljub Kavran, member of the Crown
Council, attended today a cocktail party and rugby match between Serbia and
Armenia, held in Belgrade.
Match of Division 3A of the European Nations Coup was
held at the stadium of the
Royal Belgrade Rugby Club at Ada Ciganlija
whose patron is Crown Prince Alexander II. Before the game started, the
Crown Prince and Mr. Bozidar Jelic, Deputy President of the Rugby Union
Addressing the present the Crown Prince said: ”It gives
me great pleasure to attend a rugby match between Serbia and Armenia, here
in Belgrade. Our two countries have yet to learn so much about each other.
Sports are certainly a good way to start this. I wish you all a good game,
and may the better team win”, emphasized the Crown Prince in his speech.
