CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE AT DELIVERY ROOM OPENING
Belgrade, 9 June 2008 – Her Royal Highness Crown Princess
Katherine attended this morning the opening of the new delivery rooms at the
Institute for Gynaecology and Obstetrics of the Clinical Centre of Serbia.
The delivery rooms were opened thanks to the City Hall of
Belgrade and the Secretariat for Health. The HRH Crown Princess Katherine
Foundation provided delivery beds, thanks to Lifeline Chicago.
In her speech, the Crown Princess emphasized: “I am very
glad to be here at the opening of the new delivery room. My Foundation has
provided delivery beds for this institution, thanks to Lifeline Chicago. I
will continue to provide the needed medical equipment for all our
institutions”.
This is just a continuation of the effort to help our
babies. Just as a reminder, the Crown Princess and her Foundation had
supported the project Let's Breathe Life into Serbia under the patronage of
the Holy Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church and His Holiness Patriarch
Pavle, in aim of providing incubators, and is actively involved in the Safe
Delivery project in aim of helping Neonatal Intensive Care Units in Serbia.
The HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation has so far raised millions of
Euros of medical equipment for Serbian hospitals and will continue this
effort. |
