THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES HOST PARTICIPANTS OF IPI
Belgrade, 16 June 2008 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine hosted this evening at the
White Palace a reception in honour of the
International Press Institute (IPI) Congress that takes place at
the Sava Centre from 14th to 17th June, organised by the
Media Centre in Belgrade.
The event gathered top journalists, editors and media
managers from all over the world.
Crown Prince Alexander greeted the guests, thanked them
for coming and for including the Royal Compound as part of the programme of
their Conference. The Crown Prince informed the guests briefly about the
history of the Royal Compound. Mr. Piotr Niemczycki, Chairman of the IPI,
sincerely thanked Their Royal Highnesses for hosting the participants of the
Conference. He emphasized that the Congress deals with the problems media
are facing in Europe and worldwide. Mr. Harry Steiner, Chairman of the
Organising Committee said that he was a guest at the Palace a few times and
invited all the guests to have a pleasant evening.
During the cocktail, guests were entertained by the
Teofilovic Brothers and the Marsija ambient music band.
