THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES HOST ROYAL PURVEYORS - ROYAL WARRANT HOLDERS

Belgrade, 22 June 2008 - Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine hosted today a barbecue for Royal Purveyors - Royal Warrant holders and the members of their families on the terraces of the Royal Palace.

Apart from the existing Royal Purveyors, new Royal Purveyors were awarded by Crown Prince Alexander. In his speech, the Crown Prince wished a very warm welcome to the representatives of the companies that have for several years been helping the Royal Compound with their products and services. The Crown Prince emphasized that this tradition existed during the reign of his grandfather King Alexander I, and added:

"I am very happy that old and new Royal Purveyors are here with us today, and that there are more and more companies which recognise the importance of the Royal Compound as a national, historic, and cultural institution", said the Crown Prince.

The guests had an opportunity to enjoy a very nice lunch in a relaxed atmosphere and to also get to know one another and establish new business contacts as a basis for future business cooperation.
