HER ROYAL HIGHNESS CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE AT THE
 “FROM CHILDREN TO CHILDREN WITH LOVE” EVENT

Athens, 5 July 2008 – Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine attended yesterday an event dedicated in Athens to the children of Elpida, association of children with cancer.

The event was held in Zappeion under the auspices of Mrs. Dora Bakogiannis, Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs, and organized by His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios of North and South America and Mrs. Marianna V. Vardinoyannis, President of Friends’ Association of Children with Cancer Elpida.

The Greek Metropolitan Youth Choir Archdiocese of America performed songs from the Greek and the international repertoire which was exceptionally dedicated to the children of “Elpida”.

Along with Her Royal Highness, the event was honoured by the presence of Mrs. Fani Palli Petralia, Greek Minister of Employment and Social Protection who always supports Elpida, Mrs. Sofia Kalantzakou, Greek Deputy Minister of Employment and Social Protection, Mr. Kostas Gitonas, Member of Parliament, Mr. Dimitris Daskalopoulos and his spouse Mikaela, Mrs. Liza Evert, the members of the Board of Director Elpida, and many others.
