THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES ATTEND RUSSIAN CHOIRS CONCERT AT ST. SAVA TEMPLE

Belgrade, 5 July 2008 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine attended this evening at the St. Sava Temple in Belgrade a concert of spiritual music.

Three Russian chamber choirs from the Musical Academy Gnjesin, Spiritual Academy of Moscow and Moscow’s Conservatorium Classics, performed Russian spiritual music written by modern Russian composers.

The concert was under the patronage of His Holiness Patriarch Alexeii II of Moscow and all Russia, the Holy Synod of Serbian Orthodox Church, the Ministries of Culture of Serbia and the Russian Federation, the City of Belgrade and the executive production by Jugokoncert.

Along with Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine, the concert was also attended by His Eminence Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and Littoral, His Grace Bishop of Hvosno Atanasije, HE Mr. Alexander Konuzin, Ambassador of Russia, HE Mr. Jinghua Wei, Ambassador of China, Mr. Vojislav Brajovic, Minister of Culture, Mr. Slobodan Samardzic, Minister for Kosovo and Metohija, Mr. Zoran Alimpic, Acting Mayor of Belgrade, Mr. Valery Alekseev, President of International Fond of Orthodox People, high representatives of the Russian Duma, Council of Federation, City of Belgrade, Ministries of Culture of Russia and Serbia, the International Fond of Orthodox People, and both churches.
