CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER VISITS POLICE ACADEMY
Belgrade, 15 September 2008 – His Royal Highness Crown
Prince Alexander accompanied by Professor Dr. Dragoljub Kavran, member of
the Crown Council, visited today the Police Academy.
They were greeted by acting dean Professor Dr. Ljiljana
Maskovic, acting vice deans: Dr. Dragan Vasiljevic, Prof. Dr. Radovan
Radovanovic, Dr. Dane Subosic, and Mr. Slobodan Miletic, Secretary of the
Academy.
Then followed the presentation and tour of the Academy.
In his speech, HRH Crown Prince Alexander said: “Even
though this Academy was founded only two years ago, this is an extremely
important institution for the safety of our country, because this is where
future representatives of the Ministry of Interior are educated.
Bearing in mind the complex security issues worldwide, it
is vital for young people to be educated and knowledgeable, ready to face
challenges such as organised crime and terrorism. Your task is also to
improve the safety of each and every one of our citizens, in any place and
at any time”.
The Crown Prince then wished all students success in
graduating, and the Academy many years of great achievements. |
