COLLABORATION OF ROYAL PALACE FUND AND SRBIJASUME
PUBLIC COMPANY
Belgrade, 24 September 2008 – The Royal Palace Fund,
Royal Tennis Club and Public Company for Forest Management Srbijasume,
agreed on Protocol of Collaboration for the Use of Tennis Courts, which was
promoted today at the Srbijasume tennis courts.
The Royal Palace Fund and Public Company Srbijasume,
which is a Royal Warrant, will together organize promotional activities
regarding the Royal Tennis Club School of Tennis on the courts located at
the Kosutnjak business club. The School will be led during daytime hours by
tennis coach Jelena Gencic. In addition, the Royal Palace Fund and
Srbijasume will jointly organize promotional tennis tournaments for
representatives of the diplomatic corps, public personalities, and business
people.
Crown Prince Alexander addressed the present at the
promotion of this partnership important for tennis improvement in our
country, pointing out a sad fact that only 40 percent of Serbian youth are
actively involved in sports. In his speech, Crown Prince Alexander
emphasised: “This kind of project should stimulate young people to be
involved in sports and take care of their health”.
Beside His Highness, speeches were delivered by Mr.
Vladan Zivadinovic, General Manager of Srbijasume and Mrs. Jelena Gencic,
President of the Royal Tennis Club of Serbia.
At the promotion, also present were Ambassadors of
Finland, Cyprus, Israel, Brazil, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Iraq,
as well as the members of the Royal Tennis Club Executive Board.
The School of the Royal Tennis Club is just one of the
projects through which Their Royal Highnesses are supporting the promotion
of a healthy life style. |
