THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES AT THE OPENING OF ORTHOPAEDIC
SURGEONS’ AND TRAUMATOLOGISTS’ CONGRESS
Belgrade, 25 September 2008 - Their Royal Highnesses
Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine attended today at the
Sava Centre the opening of the First Congress of Orthopaedic Surgeons and
Traumatologists of Serbia.
The First Congress of Orthopaedic Surgeons and
Traumatologists of Serbia is taking place on 25th and 26th September at the
Sava Centre under the patronage of Mr. Boris Tadic, President of Serbia and
the Serbian Ministry of Health. Beside the participates from Serbia, about
40 foreign doctors from Canada, United States of America, Germany, France,
Japan, Greece, and other countries are also taking part.
Crown Prince Alexander said in his speech that this
Congress is an excellent opportunity to present the latest results and
exchange experiences in the field of orthopaedics and emphasized: "The
presence of foreign experts in many areas will provide our experts with a
clearer view to possibilities and challenges that they are facing, as part
of the process of adjustment to the standards of the world and Europe”.
Beside Crown prince Alexander, the present were also
addressed by Professor Dr. Tomica Milosavljevic, Minister of Health and
Prof. Dr. Marko Bumbasirevic, Director of the Institute for Orthopaedics and
Traumatology of the Clinical Centre of Serbia. |
