ROYAL COUPLE AT THE 55TH ANNIVERSARY OF VECERNJE NOVOSTI

Belgrade, 16 October 2008 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine attended today the celebration of the 55th anniversary of the daily news paper Vecernje Novosti.

The ceremony was held in the National Assembly and it gathered members of the Serbian Government, City officials and many more distinguished guests from the business, cultural, political and academic life of Serbia.

Among others were: HE Mr. Dragan Sutanovac, Minister of Defence, HE Mr. Nebojsa Bradic, Minister of Culture HE Mr. Zarko Obradovic, Minister of Education, HE Mr. Arthur Koll, Ambassador of Israel, HRH Princess Elisabeth, Mr. Matija Beckovic, Dejan Bodiroga, famous basketball player, Mr. Radomir Zivanic, Head of Verano Motors and many others.
