thank everyone that has continuously helped us over the past years. I
realize that our visions and projects are sometimes very demanding,
especially to the people that are trying to follow us. When we consider how
many lives are saved and how many peoples lives are changed for the better I
realize that this is the only thing that really matters. My heart is full,
when I know I am on the right track and that I can stand here facing all of
you with that I will continue working relentlessly to make a difference no
matter what”. As a part of the ceremony guests had the pleasure to enjoy in
the wonderful performance of Leontina’s children’s Choir “Carolija”.
The HRH Crown Princess Foundation was established in
Belgrade in August 2001, immediately upon the return of HRH Crown Prince
Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine to their homeland, after more than 50
years in exile. The main goal of the Foundation is to continue and expand
the tradition of humanitarian work, initiated in London in 1993, when
Lifeline Humanitarian Organization was founded, and during all the years of
conflict in the former Yugoslavia, helped all those in need, regardless of
religion or ethnic origin. Today Lifeline Humanitarian Organization, which
is under the patronage of HRH Crown Princess Katherine, has offices in New
York, Chicago, Toronto, London and Athens, and all its activities are
