ROYAL COUPLE CHRISTMAS DAY VISIT TO HIS HOLINESS PATRIARCH PAVLE

Belgrade, 7 January 2009 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine accompanied by His Eminence Metropolitan Amfilohije, HE Monsignor Eugenio Sbarbaro, Apostolic Nuncio, Mr. Dragomir Acovic, member of the Privy Council and Mr. Matija Beckovic, member of the Crown Council visited today His Holiness Patriarch Pavle of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

Since today is Christmas, the greatest Orthodox Holiday, the Crown Prince received blessing from Patriarch for this significant day.

His Holiness Patriarch Pavle is recovering in the Military Hospital in Belgrade. Their Royal Highnesses wished His Holiness a quick recovery and asked for the people of Serbia and the Royal Family to be remembered in his prayers.
