STATEMENT OF HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER ON THE OCCASION OF THE 5TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE VIOLENCE IN KOSOVO AND METOHIJA

Belgrade, 17 March 2009 – On the 5th anniversary of the aggression and programme that was enforced on the non-Albanian and mostly Serbian citizens of Kosovo and Metohija. HRH Crown Prince Alexander II is appealing to detect and punish the persons responsible, and not to forget the tragic outcome of uncontrolled acts of hatred, ethnic violence and the indifference of the forces that entitled themselves and had the task to protect human dignity, law and justice, and monuments of civilization in Kosovo and Metohija.
