THE ROYAL COUPLE HOSTED GROUP OF STUDENTS ON THE OCCASION OF
BELGRADE STUDENTS DAY

Belgrade, 4 April 2009 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine hosted a group of students from Belgrade University, on the occasion of April Students Day, who won a free tour of the Royal Palaces in a special quiz organized by daily newspapers 24 Hours and the Royal Palace.

The students were introduced to Their Royal Highnesses and who had a cordial discussion with them, before they toured the Royal Compound. HRH Crown Prince Alexander has emphasized the significance of higher education for the further development of Serbia, and informed students about plans and activities of his Foundation for Education.

This meeting was attended by friends of Their Royal Highnesses from abroad, Mrs. Pat Fisher and Mr. Robert Valentine.

HRH Crown Prince Alexander’s Foundation for Education provided 50 scholarships for post graduate studies abroad for our young academicians so far.
