HRH CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE AT THE OPENING OF 3RD CONGRESS OF PERINATAL MEDICINE OF SOUTHEAST EUROPE

Belgrade, 15 May 2009 – Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine participated today at official opening of 3rd Congress of perinatal medicine of Southeast Europe in Belgrade.

The participants of the congress were addressed by HE Prof. Dr Tomica Milosavljevic, Minister of Health of Serbia, Prof. Dr Nebojsa Radunovic, President of the Congress and HRH Crown Princess Katherine, who emphasized in her speech: “I am very happy that Belgrade and Serbia are hosting such an important scientific event devoted to pathology of pregnancy and newborns. My Foundation is very much engaged in the field of reproductive health in our country and I am certain that this congress will have a significant impact on the development of medical science and medical practices in this field in Serbia and in Southeast Europe”.

The congress in Belgrade gathered over 300 participants including top world and European experts in this field.
