TOP WORLD CHEFS AT THE ROYAL PALACE
Belgrade, 20 May 2009 – Their Royal Highnesses
Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine hosted today at
the Royal Palace an opening party for the participants of the 4th
World Chefs Competition (OCWCC - One Culinary World Chefs
Competition) and Balkan Culinary Cup (BCC), which are held in
Belgrade from May 21-23.
The organizers from the Serbian Culinary
Association and their guests from all continents and South East
European countries, as well as Mrs. Tatjana Pasic, Director of
Peoples Office of President of Serbia, representatives of cultural
and business life of Serbia were among the guests at the Royal
Palace.
HRH Crown Prince Alexander addressed the guests
and journalists at the Royal Palace and emphasized: “My wife Crown
Princess Katherine and I have great pleasure to be your hosts today.
Besides the competitive aspects, these events have a wider
significance regarding getting acquainted with other cultures and
culinary traditions”.
The One Culinary World Chefs Competition in
Belgrade will include seven chefs from five continents – one from
Africa, two from Europe, one from Asia, two from America and one
from the Pacific region. The Balkan Culinary Cup is the first
competition of Balkan Chefs and the region has 13.917 hotels and
52.583 touristic facilities that employ at least one professional
cook each. |
