ROYAL COUPLE ATTEND 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF “KING ALEXANDER I” PRIMARY SCHOOL AND VISIT HOSPITAL IN GORNJI MILANOVAC

Gornji Milanovac, 24 May 2009 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine attended today the 70th Anniversary of “King Alexander I” Primary School in Gornji Milanovac and visited the Health Centre in Gornji Milanovac where they delivered a humanitarian donation of four hydraulic beds for the Intensive care unit and five wheelchairs for children and adults.

The celebration of the School Day was at the same time an opportunity for gathering members of the Association of Schools that bears the name of King Alexander I Karadjordjevic.

Their Royal Highnesses then attended a celebration of the School Day in “Dom vojske”, and then visited the hospital in Gornji Milanovac Health Centre where they delivered a humanitarian donation of four hydraulic beds to the Intensive care unit and five wheelchairs.

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine were welcomed by Mr. Drazimir Marusic, the Mayor of Gornji Milanovac, Mr. Slobodan Pantic, principal of Primary school “King Alexander I”, Dr Miro Lazarevic, Director of the Health Center and Dr Mirjana Stanojcic Vasic, Manager of Gornji Milanovac Hospital.
