HER ROYAL HIGHNESS ATTENDS CONFERENCE FOR INTERNATIONAL CLIMATE CHANGE IN ATHENS

Athens, 2 June 2009 – Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine attended today an International Conference and dinner for “Climate Change and Challenges for Future Generations” in Athens. Her Royal Highness was invited by Dr. Rajendra Pachauri, Director General of TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute) and Mrs. Marianna V. Vardinoyannis, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and President of the Foundation for the Child and Family.

HRH Crown Princess Katherine was among very distinguished guests from the Greek political life and climate change experts from Greece and abroad.

"Climate Change and Challenges for Future Generations" International Conference, which was organized by UNESCO, was officially opened by Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis of Greece.
