FIFTY THREE SERBIAN ORPHANS AT SUMMER CAMP IN
ATHENS
Belgrade, 26 July 2009 – HRH Crown Princess
Katherine Foundation and Lifeline Hellas sent today a group of 53
children and 9 escorts from orphanages in Serbia, and Kosovo and
Metohija to a summer camp near Athens.
By the courtesy of Municipality of Athens and
Lifeline Humanitarian Organization Hellas, whose patron is HRH Crown
Princess Katherine, 13 children from the orphanage “Mladost”
Kragujevac, Centre for Social Care, Municipality of Aleksinac,
Centre for Social Care, Municipality of Vranje along with 40
children and 5 escorts from Serbian enclaves in Kosovo and Metohija,
will stay in the children summer camp of Municipality of Athens at
Agios Andreas of New Makri, Attica, where they will be until the
August 10.
HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation organized
this journey due to support of Municipality of Athens, YUTA, UNIQA
Insurance Serbia, Saljic melem, Klas bakery, Lasta A.D, Colgate –
Palmolive Adria and Hellenic and Serbian Friendship Society, who all
believe that such a trip for these children who need support and
care very much, as well as contacts with their counterparts from
Greece, will be beneficial for their health and development. |
