ROYAL COMPOUND HOSTS FIRST GUESTS DURING DAYS OF
EUROPEAN HERITAGE
Belgrade, 11 September 2009 – The Royal Compound
in Dedinje hosted today a group of fifty people from Inter-Municipal
organization of Deaf and hard of hearing people from Kragujevac, as
part of the European Heritage Days, that will take place from 11-21
September, with this years’ topic “Heritage as stimulus of
intercultural dialogue”.
Every September since 1984 member countries of
the Council of Europe, undertake Days of European Heritage, founded
by the Council of Europe and realized with the support of the
European Commission. The aim of the event is the mutual coming
closer of the peoples of the Old Continent and a better
understanding of one’s own natural and cultural heritage.
