CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER EXTENDS CONGRATULATIONS FOR ROSH HASHANAH

Belgrade, 18 September 2009 - HRH Crown Prince Alexander II extended his congratulations for Rosh HaShanah, 19 September, one of the High Holy Days, to Jewish community in Serbia and Republika Srpska.

“Rosh HaShanah is all about making peace in the community and striving to be a better person. It reminds us that there is no sinless human being and that we all can be better.”- pointed out the Crown Prince in his letter of congratulations.

His Royal Highness sent a letter to HE Mr. Arthur Koll, the Ambassador of Israel in Serbia, Mr. Isaac Asiel, the Great Rabbi of Serbia, Mr. Jakov Danon, President of the Jewish Community Banja Luka, Mr. Jakov Elazar, President of the Jewish Community Belgrade, Mr. Robert Sabados, President of the Jewish Community Subotica and Dr. Anna Frenkel, President of the Jewish Community Novi Sad.
